The Yoga Collective is a premier online yoga studio that provides yoga and wellness classes through its website and mobile app. There is also a studio in Venice Beach, California where people can drop by for a class.
The Yoga Collective provides classes for all levels, styles, duration and focuses, and provides users with great search filters to customize their classes.
The Yoga Collective already had a studio in California and a website platform with a good client base. However, they wanted to expand that client base and offer users the possibility of taking the classes through their mobile phone.
Therefore, they asked us to develop the app with the already existing content, but we, of course, also added plenty of new and interesting features.
The app we developed is fully integrated with their website, allowing users to watch the existing videos. We also added integrations with Chromecast, Apple TV, and Amazon Fire TV which allow for more interaction with various devices.
Moreover, users can now download and see their videos offline and set meditation timers and daily reminders for when they want to take a class. In addition to that, the app also gives users the option to add background meditation music to the videos for an even more relaxing experience.
As we’ve mentioned, The Yoga Collective already had a client base they were able to grow. However, the mobile app did not only allow them to expand to a mobile audience but also created more engagement with their existing users. After just a few weeks of being launched, 10,000 of their existing users are already using the app.
The app created a new channel for them to increase their subscription figures which has had a great impact on their business.
